Flood Warning issued September 29 at 8:50PM CDT until October 4 at 6:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

.Expect forecast changes as rainfall amounts and locations continue
to come into better focus.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Agency.

* WHEN…From Thursday evening to Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to
flood. At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of Agency.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
Thursday evening to a crest of 23.2 feet early Friday afternoon.
It will then fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
